Mastermind Z (USEF 5471292) 14yr, 17h warmblood gelding
Winning 1.10m - 1.15m jumper who also doubles in the equitation. ”Z” ended up silver medalist, both individually and in the team event, at the 2024 USHJA jumper championships.
He’s been a medal finalist several times, competing indoors, under the lights, and at night with great results.
This horse is incredibly useful and very forgiving of mistakes. For a bigger horse, he is light on his feet and turns quickly so he’s quite competitive against the clock. But he also has all if the equitation tricks, and covers up mistakes well so he suits many levels of riders. Did I mention zero prep? Really, the easiest horse to get to the ring. Everclear lives up to his name and has jumped am amazing number of clear rounds in the 1.30-1.40m classes. At his last 5 shows, he has won enough money to pay all of his expenses and then some - including the $10,000 Antares Sellier Classic at The Oaks. Everclear is the Ferrari of show jumpers - he is lightening fast in the jump-off and always tries his best to jump clear - even if the rider makes mistakes. He has many miles with an amateur, jumps the open water and natural obstacles. He has experience up to the 1.45m, but has scope for more. Suitable for Jr/Am or professional.
